Dear AFJROTC Cadets,
We want to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your decision to “Aim High.”   You have indeed chosen to learn and live to a higher standard of excellence when you became an Air Force JROTC cadet at Palmetto High School. You have decided to be different, to challenge yourself, and to be the very best that you can be. Welcome to this outstanding program that helps train leaders for tomorrow.  You should be made aware of the direct impact the JROTC program has upon your development as a productive citizen in our American society. This impact is positive and long term. The learning experiences provided by this program support the mission of the District and Palmetto High School. Both Dr Wayne Fowler, Superintendent of Anderson County School District One, and Dr Gary Mason, Principal of Palmetto High School support this program strongly. Please take the time to study and review the Cadet Handbook. Make yourself very familiar with AFJROTC’s purpose, curriculum, credits, enrollment, transfer, disenrollment, cadet responsibilities and specific benefits of completing the total program.

In closing, we again commend you for accepting the challenge of being an AFJROTC Cadet and wish you the very best in this endeavor.

Sincerely,

Lt Col Mike Creamer, USAF (Ret)                                          MSgt David Livingston, USAF (Ret)
